Maybe you know the feeling. You show up to another date open and hopeful, and somewhere between the small talk and the bill, you feel that familiar drop: not this one either. Or maybe it's quieter than that.

Maybe it's 11 pm on a Tuesday, staring at your phone, wondering if you're the problem, or if love itself just isn't built for people like you anymore.

I know that feeling.

Because I've lived inside it. Four and a half years of dating, in one of the most disorienting eras in the history of love seeking, and there were nights I asked myself the exact question you might be asking right now: Is love still out there for me?

Dating wasn't supposed to be my subject. For most of my career, I worked in private equity, in fine art, in cross-border strategy. I built a premium beauty brand from scratch in one of the most competitive consumer markets in the world.
My job was reading value that other people missed, in deals, in art, in markets that didn't yet know what they were worth. Nobody trained me to read love. I ended up doing it anyway, because eventually every question becomes the same question.

I come from a family where love was steady, respectful, and deeply present. My parents have loved and supported each other for more than four decades, and growing up inside that kind of partnership taught me something I never unlearned: love was never transactional; it was the foundation. That belief is what sent me looking, and it's what kept me looking even after years of not finding it.

Here's what all those years, in boardrooms and on dates both, finally taught me: the decisions that matter most don't get made with a spreadsheet. They get made with a feeling. I sat in rooms where the numbers checked out and everyone still decided on instinct. I went on dates where a spark decided everything before either of us asked a single real question. Same instinct, wearing a different outfit.

And that's exactly the problem. Feeling is a terrible judge of fit. Chemistry tells you how someone makes you feel in a moment. It says nothing about whether you're compatible for the next twenty years. I've watched brilliant, self-aware people, myself included, mistake a spark for a match, over and over, and pay for it later. The dating industry knows this, and it optimizes for the spark anyway, because the spark is what keeps you swiping.

Nobody is building for what actually lasts.

Why I'm spilling this

I know what modern dating can do to a person.

Because it happened to me too.

The swiping fatigue. The situationships that go nowhere. The exhaustion of showing up open and hopeful, only to leave wondering if something's wrong with you, or with love itself.

I didn't look away from that question. I walked straight into it. At some point I stopped seeing modern dating as something to survive, and started seeing it the way I used to see broken markets: too much noise, too many superficial signals, not enough alignment between intention and outcome.

If the system is broken, someone has to imagine a better one. So I asked: if not me, then who?

That's what HeartSync™ is. Not a platform that ignores feeling; feeling matters, it's how we're wired. But one that finally puts something underneath it: real behavioral science, evolutionary psychology, twenty years of studying the invisible architecture of partner selection, so the spark you feel actually has a shot at lasting.

If you've ever wondered whether something's wrong with you, or with love itself, I want you to hear this clearly: nothing is wrong with you. The system was never built to find you a match that lasts. I built HeartSync™ because I lived that question myself, and I'm not done answering it.

If you're still looking for clarity, not just chemistry, I'm glad you're here.

Let's find it.

Common questions

What is HeartSync™?

HeartSync™ is a relationship intelligence ecosystem founded by Tea Liu to help people build healthier, longer-lasting relationships through clarity, compatibility, and better decisions.  At its foundation are research-backed assessments and proprietary compatibility frameworks that help individuals better understand themselves, evaluate potential partners, and navigate modern dating with greater confidence.  Building on this foundation, HeartSync™ is developing a compatibility-first matchmaking platform that connects singles seeking long-term relationships through behavioral intelligence and meaningful alignment— rather than surface-level attraction.  HeartSync™ is built on a simple belief: modern dating has optimized for chemistry, convenience, and volume, while lasting relationships are built on compatibility, discernment, and self-awareness.

What is the difference between chemistry and compatibility?

Chemistry is the felt spark between two people in a moment. It is emotional, physical, and immediate. Compatibility is the structural fit between two people over time — how their values, goals, conflict styles, attachment patterns, and life priorities align. Chemistry tells you how someone makes you feel now; compatibility tells you whether that feeling is likely to last.

Who is The Love Agenda for?

The Love Agenda is for anyone who is serious about understanding modern love — whether you are single and exhausted, dating and confused, or in a relationship and quietly wondering if it is the right one. It is especially useful for people who want truth over comfort and clarity over hype.
